Summer is upon us! Most schools around the Portland and Gresham area wrap up the school-year within the next couple weeks, and many of us are eager for longer days, outdoor adventures, and perhaps a more relaxed pace.
As you, your youth, or your family transition to the summer, you may be holding excitement for fun activities or worry that this summer might not meet your expectations. Knowing yourself and your needs can help you plan ahead to create a balanced blend of time with yourself and time with others; moments inside and adventures in the sun; opportunities to peacefully reflect and chances to create and do.
An intentional approach to summertime can help you meet your self-care needs and also nurture relationships throughout the season.
