Kylee Carmony

Kylee is a Psychology student at Portland State University. She is particularly passionate about supporting folks in their journey toward mental health and is planning to pursue a career in couples counseling.

With 7 years of horse experience, Kylee brings her knowledge of horse care and management, training, and behavior to her role with C.H.E.R.I.I.S.H. Counseling. Through detailed observations and reflections, she offers our clients valuable insight into the What? How? and Why? questions that emerge during equine-assisted sessions, while simultaneously holding space for the unknown. She invites folks to try unfamiliar things with an open willingness, is gentle and compassionate, and brings a playful curiosity to our work.

Kylee is a member of the queer community and especially enjoys supporting other members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
